Advantages of Credential Evaluation at SPbPU:

To be admitted to an educational programme and to work in the Russian Federation, applicants must provide recognized foreign academic credentials.
Recognition of foreign education and academic degrees and titles in the Russian Federation is carried out on the basis of Article 107 of the Federal Law 273-FZ, dated 29 Dec. 2012, "On education in the Russian Federation" and Article 6.2 of the Federal Law 127-FZ, dated 23 Aug. 1996, "On science and the state science and technical policy".

According to the Russian legislation, Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University as a National Research University is authorized to perform recognition of foreign academic credentials following its own procedure. This right was granted to the University on September 01, 2013. Therefore, our international students and employees are not required to receive the Certificate of Recognition issued by the Federal Service for Supervision in Education and Science in Moscow. It makes the procedure of recognition of international qualifications more convenient.

Centre for International Credential Evaluation performs all principal recognition duties. It is equipped with the necessary technical infrastructure for verification of foreign academic credentials. Our specialists have great experience that guarantees reasonable credential evaluation decisions and high quality within a short time.
